X-rings as an alternative
The unique shape of X-rings ensures reliable sealing under pressure, reduces wear, and extends the seal’s lifespan in demanding environments.
While O-rings are widely used, X-rings offer higher stability and less friction, making them ideal for dynamic applications such as rotating shafts.

Flat gaskets

Radial Lip Seals
Seals for Rotary Equipment.
Designed for use in both pressure and vacuum environments, Radial Lip Seals are ideal for applications involving direct contact with food. These custom seals for rotating shafts feature a preloaded membrane instead of traditional coil springs, resulting in a low-friction sealing profile. This reduces wear on both the seal and the shaft, ensuring a long service life.
Radial Lip Seals can operate at rotational speeds up to 40 m/s and withstand pressures up to 15 bar.
Available in a wide range of food-grade materials certified under EC 1935:2004 and FDA CFR 21§177.2600, Radial Lip Seals offer a hygienic solution for food contact applications.
By eliminating coil springs, these seals avoid the hygiene and cleaning issues typically associated with spring-activated seals, making them one of the few reliable options for rotary equipment in direct food contact environments.
V-rings for reliable sealing
